Job opportunities are often posted on LinkedIn. Networking at offshore wind or infrastructure planning events and forums is a great way to establish connections within the industry and can lead to insight to opportunities across the sector.
I manage the delivery of the consents and licenses necessary to permit the construction and operation of offshore wind farms, including management of the survey and Environmental Impact Assessment work. The role entails engagement with a variety of statutory and non-statutory stakeholders and regulating bodies, as well as representing Equinor within industry forums related to infrastructure planning and offshore wind.
My role requires interfacing with a wide range of disciplines, every day is different and I get to learn from the talented engineers, legal advisors, land agents, communications experts, project managers and many many more that I work alongside. Consenting and permitting work requires a high level of collaboration and I really enjoy working within diverse project teams to strive toward a common goal and face thought provoking project challenges together.
