I work on a variety of renewable projects, overcoming challenges and learning new things. I enjoy working on projects from the initial bid stage and seeing them progress through the design and manufacturing stages. Working with a variety of clients and working to their expectations can be a challenge but I enjoy it.

I enjoy my role as no day is the same. I enjoy seeing my projects go through the design and manufacturing stages. The renewables industry is fast moving and is continuing to grow rapidly. I enjoy working in this industry and I am proud of the successful projects that I have been lucky to work on. JDR is also one of the market leaders in the wind industry.

After graduating, I secured a Graduate Engineer role at Siemens. I also gained experience working offshore as a Project Engineer. I was involved on a variety of projects in the design and writing stages whilst office based. I would then take these projects offshore and oversee the installation operation. I became a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers which was a big achievement, and I am currently involved in the STEM programme.
