We’re a planet-friendly energy company, supplying homes and businesses across the UK with 100% renewable electricity and our Green Gas. We’re based in Wiltshire and, over the last 17 years, have grown to serve 250,000 customers; employ over 320 staff; and generate over £90m in annual revenue. We own several wind and solar farms and source the remainder of our electricity from over 1,400 independent renewable generators all over Britain.
My advice for somebody wanting to be get into the energy industry would be to start with a clear vision and find good people to support you. You don’t have to start your own business to support renewables: there’s a huge range of opportunities - from engineering to accountancy – in existing businesses.
