Hi my name is Jon and I am an Operations Manager working on the Humber Gateway Offshore Wind Farm at E.ON. I have been working for the electricity industry since 1982. I started as a Craft Apprentice with the CEGB.

My background is in engineering for conventional coal before successfully applying for a management role in on and offshore wind within the same company. I hold a HNC in Electrical Engineering from the Burton on Trent Technical College.

I am proud to work in renewable energy because I am making a positive contribution to tackling the greatest threat we face today, that of climate change.
