The core of my role is as stakeholder engagement senior manager, working with bp's offshore wind business (and joint venture partners) to obtain regulatory approvals and societal support for multi-billion-pound world-scale projects. I lead a team that works with a wide range of stakeholders, from individuals in local communities to governments, managing non-technical risk (basically anything to do with relationships) and finding solutions that add value for communities where we operate.

Two things that make me tick are problem solving & helping people to develop and flourish. I love my job because it combines complex & strategic challenges with real local impact. I grew up in Northwest England and North Wales, and I know first hand just how important responsible business development can be for local communities & economies. I am really excited about how the projects bp is developing with our partners EnBW can improve opportunities and prosperity in recently overlooked areas.
