I am working with the team which builds gravity based foundations. These support turbines offshore. I am on site every day at the dock inspecting activities and performing quality control checks. This is a great project to work on; it’s really innovative and every day is interesting. I did a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering and initially worked in Oil & Gas offshore structures before moving into offshore wind. My skills were transferable, which has worked really well.
