Dogger Bank has a lot of ‘world-firsts’ this means we are at the forefront of technology and attempting some brand new ways of working – this is exciting and challenging which makes for a fulfilling job! There is lots of problem solving which I enjoy but we are also contributing to company-wide processes as we continue to develop and so we feel like we are shaping the future not just of Dogger Bank but renewables within the company.

I worked for Equinor on an oil platform in my previous role. Because Equinor is part of Dogger Bank joint venture, I saw the position advertised internally and went for it – my previous role as supervisor and experience in HSE, ops & maintenance and general operational experience all meant I was positioned to take on the role – I had no offshore wind or renewables experience prior.
